The Devil’s Memories

(book four of the Deane witch saga:  a tale of desert vampires)

“I’ve been a lot of things, and a vampire is not the worst of them.”

~Adam Colter in Heaven’s Call

The Deane witches have friends with stories of their own to tell, and Adam Colter’s has a lot of pages. Now a crucial member of Heaven’s Watch, he hopes to start a new chapter in Chuparosa, but unfortunately a few of his flashback characters have been revived.

Adam’s maker has come to town looking for revenge. Walter is a sadistic vampire who likes to play with people, and the love of Adam’s life could be caught up in his sinister games. Cara has disappeared and clues left behind leave Adam wondering if she is Walter’s prisoner or his partner.

Laura and Sebastian must face their own fears as they travel north with Adam to confront Walter. Heaven’s Watch has been issued a dire warning and they find themselves making deals with the darkest of forces, determined to do whatever it takes to save their world.

Before Walter came along, Adam once traveled the old west as a gunfighter and a lawman with his beloved brother at his side. He assumed their saga was long over, but Adam and Sebastian are going to realize just how important it is to keep history alive.

As these friends fight to protect their future, they will learn that they can’t close the book on the past. Will they be too late?

Daniel and Thomas have figured out who’s pulling the strings on the Other Side and the Deane sisters have to stop her before Chuparosa suffers a catastrophe of biblical proportions.  Can they do it without hurting someone Sebastian cares about?

In the meantime, Sara’s heard the Banshee again.  Will Heaven’s Watch be able to recover from the loss?  The pieces of the mystery are finally coming together, and they’re all related…

Heaven’s Watch

(book two of the Deane witch saga)

Their nightmares have just begun…

Hell bent on moving into Chuparosa, Thomas has dug up another root from the family tree that Laura and Sarah would rather leave planted in the past. But of course, that’s not the only thing complicating life for the Deane sisters.

Sarah’s magic has gotten darker since their last battle in the desert, and though Drew works hard to keep a suspicious Daniel off her trail, she’s working even harder to push him and everyone else away. Without her sister, Laura always seems to be one step behind Thomas and her frustration builds as she learns they could be working together.

Meanwhile, Daniel’s latest assignment has exposed the more restless residents of the Other Side and Laura finds herself alone at the center of a plot that could undo everything they started. She longs for a partnership with Sebastian, but it seems that his feelings may be clouding his judgment.

Separated and struggling, are Earth’s new Defenses going to be ready for what’s next?
